Experience

The Tazmedia Group (TMG) was created in 1990 and was one of the primary leaders of outdoor displays for the Olympic games. The company is a trade name for a collection of companies dedicated to spectacular, one of a kind outdoor displays.

TMG’s first display was the Georgia Tech Message Center, Atlanta’s first four-color message display for interstate travel. Viewed by thousands of daily commuters in downtown Atlanta, the Message Center paved the way for future highway message displays.

Foreseeing the impact of the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, TMG developed two rooftop landmarks in Downtown Atlanta known as The Peaches. Located at both the north and south entrance of Atlanta, these patented icons provide corporate America with 1,750 square feet of advertising space along the city’s downtown interstate connector. TMG also developed the world’s largest outdoor advertising display in downtown Atlanta. Now referred to as the “Giant Wall Display”, this 55 x 60 foot tri-vision panel wall can be seen by commuters from miles away. The wall is located on the same building as the northern Peach and faces Interstate 85. It is seen by millions of commuters coming into downtown Atlanta.

In keeping with the Olympic spirit, TMG developed a 12-story Tower that resembled the Olympic Torch but used a replica of the Statue of Liberty flame at the cauldron. Complete with an observation deck 105 feet up and a souvenir store at the base, the Tower was a welcome attraction to tourists during and after the Olympics.

Recently, TMG developed an Interstate message spectacular for the Gwinnett Civic & Cultural Center in metro Atlanta. The Interstate marquee is 85 feet tall and its message center and tri-vision panels can be seen from a distance of one mile. The display is located at the busy intersection of I-85 and Sugarloaf Parkway in Gwinnett County.

Scoreboards
All Advertising is Local
Tazmedia has expanded many businesses and helped local athletic programs with scoreboard advertising. Scoreboards are excellent for advertisers that want to have a more focused, localized presence.

There are only two things people at a football game are focused on: the field and the scoreboard. Scoreboard advertising enables your company to be associated with an Athletic program and be seen as part of the community. High School football is important in every community but especially in the south. Scoreboard advertising with Tazmedia provides an emotional, uncluttered connection between consumers and advertisers that is truly local.
